China Kim’s story is one of faith, resilience, and a heart for people. Born in South Korea, she spent seven years of her childhood in China, where her dad served as a missionary.
Her journey with missions began at YWAM Kona, where she took a bold step of faith by joining the Discipleship Training School (DTS). What started as a few months of learning turned into five years of serving on staff, pouring into others and growing in her passion for ministry.
Now, as part of Third Culture Wave, China walks alongside Missionary Kids (MKs), helping them navigate their identities and discover their purpose in God’s global story. With her own background as an MK, she brings compassion, understanding, and a deep desire to see young people thrive in their faith and calling.
China’s life is a testament to how God can use every season to prepare us for something greater. She’s excited to continue sharing hope and making an impact across cultures.
